Julian Perez developed a love for electronic music since the early 90′s. Influenced by the old school house & Techno grooves, he shaped his style with imports from Detroit, Chicago and UK. At 16, Julian started DJing as a hobby for friends, thanks to records by MK, Todd Terry, Carl Craig, Chez Damier, Paul Johnson, DJ Sneak. It was around this time that he first stepped into the clubbing scene and started playing smaller clubs in his hometown. 2006 lead Julian to Ibiza.

His fresh & elegant style quickly created an interest and he was approached by promoters from London and Ibiza who offered him an opportunity to play at many clubs there during the summer seasons such us Pacha Hotel, Space, Blu, Ushuaia, Sands, a residency at Salvation parties at Heaven in 2007, a residency at La Plage in 2009, plus various villa parties around Ibiza. During the winter seasons he has travelled to new shores, playing in Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Costa Rica, Panama and has been performing at festivals like ADE, Sonar, Kazantip and WMC. In 2010 started a new era for Julian, having played in many clubs around Spain, Greece, Austria, Italy, Netherlands, UK and USA. With several productions out on labels such as Leftroom, Lowpitch, Recycle, Tzinah and Frankfurt based Two.Birds Records – Julian is without a doubt an artist to keep an eye on. Artists such as Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Loco Dice, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Onur Özer, Raresh, Rhadoo, Mathias Kaden, Tobi Neumann, Livio & Roby, Kerri Chandler, Franco Cinelli, The Martinez Brothers, have been playing his unreleased tracks by these labels during the last 3 years.

From 2013 Julian is focusing on his own imprint: “Fathers & Sons Productions”, an underground house/techno vinyl-only label with very limited copies. All the releases have been sold out the first week on the market and all of them on first 3 places on top techno viny sells. In addition, Julian presents “Fathers & Sons First Anniversary Shows”, with 12 events around the world. It has been presented in various countries during 2013, starting at Miami WMC and followed by Berlin, Barcelona, Zurich, Moscow, Bucharest, Basel, Kiev, London, Paris, Ibiza plus events at Sonar Week, Barcelona. The summer of 2013 has been successful as well, playing for Fuse Ibiza 3 times at Sankeys, Kazantip Festival with his own showcase and many other dates in Europe. He has been touring the north and south america during the fall. Julian has been nominated as best artist 2012 and 2013 by Vicious Music Awards.

He has built a solid reputation around the world, with an ever growing fan base with his elegantly moving and absorbing groovy style. His sound goes well beyond deep and old school house grooves, pushing a unique sound that has continuously provided a soundtrack for some of the worlds best party experiences.
